I am so sorry to bother you. I was writing to inquire if you would be interested in hosting an international student for the 2014-2015 academic school years. Or you would be interested in becoming our local representatives to help us to place some exchange students.
Our organization, Forte International Exchange Association (FIEA), is a non-profit organization designated by the State Department to be engaged in exchange programs. We have many wonderful students who we are looking for homes so that they can come to the U.S. and live their dream. They have studied English for many years but want that opportunity to practice it and make improvements. They want to introduce us to their culture and to learn about ours. They are not "couch potatoes" or "gamers" but have skills and interests in sports, the arts, or a variety of other interests. Our students range from 15-18 years old and come from about 20 countries in Europe, Asia and South America. They want to be part of the wonderful school spirit in the high schools throughout the U.S. This is something that most of them don't have in their native country. All of our students have undergone personal interviews, standardized English testing, and maintain good grades in their native countries. All international students also have medical insurance and pocket money.
